Sammie is a 1999 Lindale High School honor student graduate. Sammie is married to Joe Carr, and together, they have two beautiful daughters, Kenley and Brayley. Sammie has been a long-time resident of East Texas, where she has built a name for herself as a strong businesswoman. Sammie, along with her husband Joe, have built from the ground up their successful businesses known as Carr Construction LLC, Carr Land & Cattle LLC, and Carr Land Development LLC. Sammie has a strong development background for both land and new developments happening across Texas! While in the midst of running these businesses, Sammie also has a deep appreciation for the surrounding communities. She spends her extra time giving back to the youth. She is a member of the Quitman Young Farmers, Texas Polled Hereford Association, and the Texas Polletes. Sammie exemplifies the significance of land, and she has a robust and knowledgeable background to prove it! The Carr name is no stranger to Wood County, and she is known for her dedication, ambition, and commitment to everything she puts her mind to.
